Our Big News

We have some big news over here! Our little family of four is growing to a family of five this August. And guess what?? It’s another boy!!
We found out that we were pregnant pretty early on, but decided not to tell our oldest, Henry, until we knew the gender. Henry has been wanting a little sister for a really long time. So we didn’t want him to think there was a chance he was getting one and then be crushed when he found out. So we waited to tell him. I’m happy we did!

Henry was really excited to find out he was going to be a big brother again. When we told him it was a boy, he started crying and said, “We already have one of those!” But he got over it pretty quickly, and is now really excited to have another brother. He wants to name him Kenji. I have not idea where that name came from, haha. He will often come up to me and talk to my belly. It’s the cutest. 

I was really sick my first trimester, but I am feeling great now! I may or may not have stayed in bed for over a month. Haha. I’m so happy I am feeling better! I am due August 18th, so I will be taking the whole month of August off to be with my family. But don’t worry, I will be back in September for fall photos!!
