Family Fall Photos at Kelly Canyon

Family fall photos here in Idaho Falls seem to be a big thing nowadays! It has been a crazy busy October, but I couldn’t be more happy and excited about it. We have found some beautiful locations close to Idaho Falls, and the pictures with the fall colors have turned out stunning. 

This particular location is up just past Kelly Canyon Ski Resort. For all those looking to find this location, just head up past Kelly Canyon on the dirt road for about three minutes. You will see a little pull over spot on the right hand side, and then a pretty wooden fence. That’s the spot! Only thirty minutes from Idaho Falls and SO BEAUTIFUL! The prettiest colors seemed to be up there the last week of September and the first week or two of October.

This family was so fun! They made having three kids look easy. Their little kiddos were so good at following directions and smiling big for the camera. And the dad didn’t even complain about getting family pictures. All moms and family photographers know that the hardest part of getting family pictures is getting dad on board. But this cute dad didn’t even grumble once- at least not to me. 😂

I think my very favorite picture from the whole session is the one where all of the kids are hugging on their sweet momma and their dad is smiling at them. The joy on their mom’s face is priceless. I love love LOVE it!
