SE Idaho Wedding Venues

Getting married? Yay! Nothing makes me happier than photographing weddings. One of the first things on your to-do list is probably locating a venue for your ceremony and/or reception. If you are looking for a wedding or reception venue, you have come to the right place! I have created a list of my favorite SE Idaho wedding venues for you guys. I will share pictures, reviews, and weekend prices for these locations (if available on their websites). I will also list the contact info for each if you would like to reach out for further info.

The Barn on 1st

The Barn on 1st is one of my favorite locations in Idaho Falls, mainly because it is so versatile. It can be used for elegant, rustic, or modern-themed weddings. It is bright and has great lighting. There is a small outdoor courtyard to take photos. It’s located in Ammon, just minutes from Idaho Falls.

The DEC

The Downtown Event Center is a new venue located in the heart of downtown Idaho Falls. It is great for modern and elegant weddings. It has a large event space (capacity of 340 guests), a food preparation area, and a bridal suite.

Review from guest: “If you are looking for a wedding venue, look no further than The DEC. Our big day exceeded expectations with how beautiful this space is. The style is versatile and allows brides to have any style of wedding they want. Throughout the night many people were in awe of how beautiful the building was. I would like to give a shout out to the Director, Chase, as he went above and beyond to accommodate the planning process. He helped with the vision of the layout and gave expert recommendations on various vendors. Many people were concerned about parking downtown but it was a breeze, not a single complaint from any of our guests (150 people).”

The Venue

The Venue is a beautiful indoor venue in Rigby. It has high ceilings, a variety of beautiful rustic-looking walls, a dance floor, and a large bridal suite. It also has an industrial-sized kitchen. I have rented from the owners of The Venue before, and they were SO understanding and easy to work with. Beautiful venue!

Perfect finishes for the elegant look we were seeking with a little bit of work on our end enhancing areas with decor. Owners are awesome, easy to work with and pay attention to detail! Loved the bridal room. What a plus having such a great kitchen for food prep. Definitely would recommend and not hesitate to rent again in the future.”

The Rose Shop

The Rose Shop in Idaho Falls is an awesome location for a wedding! Not only does it smell amazing, but it is already decorated because it is a rose shop! Their ceremony space can seat 90. They will transition from the ceremony to reception setup for you (reception capacity is more). They do all of the setup and takedown. The Rose Shop has small parking lot, but there is a large one just across the street, so parking shouldn’t be an issue.

Review from guest: “The Rose Shop was – p e r f e c t – ! When you walk in, the place smells fresh with life- the plant life and flowers. It is a beautiful setup and it almost has a European-street cafe feel, which made it more fun! I absolutely loved the European-style vibe. The waterfall/fish pond also added to the beauty of it all.
I loved the cozy-feel of how close we could all be to each other and be able to actually bond with those we love and whom we invited. I can promise that the Rose Shop also had the – b e s t – price around town. I tried 4-5 other places.. and out of them all, this was the cheapest, most beautiful & cozy, and offered the most add-ons with no extra price.”

The Avenues

The Avenues is a light and airy venue in Rexburg. It is absolutely stunning, and is a great price. It has charm and gives off a clean and fresh feeling. The rental price includes use of the kitchen, tables, and chairs.

The Loft

The awesome thing about The Loft (located in Rigby) it is has stunning indoor and outdoor locations. The garden is absolutely gorgeous in the summer. There is a nice big dance floor and beautiful plants, flowers, and trees throughout. The inside has a log cabin feel, but can be decorated for any type of wedding. This venue is worth the short drive to Rigby!

Review from guest: “The Loft Reception Center provided the wedding and reception of our daughter’s dreams! It was perfect! From the beautiful landscaping, flowers, water features, gazebos and pergolas, to the decorations and lighting, it was beyond our imaginings. All of our guests were stunned, and were well taken care of. There was plenty of room for the wedding party to prepare. The kitchen is a professional size kitchen with stainless steel sinks, counters, and a walk in refrigerator where we could store food and flowers. I just can’t say enough about how amazing it was. Also, there were no hidden costs or fees, everything was quoted to us early and taken care of. Don’t waste your time and money anywhere else. You won’t find anywhere better than this!”

The Arbor

The Arbor is located right down the street from Idaho Falls High School. It is an older building, with beautiful floor-to-ceiling stained glass windows and grand light fixtures. It has a grand ballroom, full kitchen, brides and grooms rooms, and an indoor balcony.

Review from guest: “My brother’s wedding reception was there last night and it was GORGEOUS! The vaulted ceilings, low lights, and original hardwood floors provided an atmosphere of refined elegance. I got a chance to peek into the bride’s room and it was beautiful. My brother showed me a picture of the groom’s room and it was manly and comfortable. I think this would be a great place for pretty much any big event you can think of. I highly recommend it!”

LaBelle Lake

If you are looking for the nicest venue in SE Idaho, look no further! When you rent Labelle Lake, you get the whole package. The 7,000 loft, the 7 acres of dreamy property, and setup and take down. It’s definitely on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for! It’s a dream!

Emalee’s Barn

Emalee’s Barn is an incredibly beautiful rustic barn in Rexburg. It has an outdoor courtyard, a customizable chandelier, and beautiful lights strung throughout. A perfect location for your Idaho wedding!!

Red Barn south of Idaho Falls

This barn is what dreams are made of! It is absolutely stunning. It has a serving area, an upstairs, and is located on 5 acres of property. It is located on 65th south. They don’t have website, so I don’t have any reviews, but I think the picture speaks for itself!
