Boutique Model Session

One of the reasons I love my job so much is it is so versatile. I can shoot weddings, newborn babes, products, or a boutique model session like this! It keeps things exciting and feel like it helps make me a more well-rounded photographer.
I love the idea of being a commercial photographer. It’s something you guys are going to see more of around here! A commercial photographer is someone who takes pictures for specific brands. I haven’t niched down quite yet, but I’m currently taking pictures of children’s clothing, jewelry, crafts and beauty products, and boutique clothing. It has been so much fun to open up another part of my business! I am really excited for it! I’m looking forward to sharing fun shoots like this one with you guys over the next little while.
These girls were so much fun. Tess, the the cute blonde, is my friend and a fellow photographer. Sorry guys, she is taken! I had her bring along her two cute friends and they modeled for me in downtown Idaho Falls. These pictures were taken at Snake River Landing right before all of the colors fell. I’m so happy we were able to catch those few last beautiful colors of fall!
The nice thing about commercial photography is you can get such a great variety of photos in a limited time. In an hour shoot, I can get photos of ten different products in three different ways. The actual product shot, flat lays (the products laid out), and the products on models. This boutique model session focused just on the products on models, but you can find more of my product work under my portfolio tab on my website.
I can’t wait to take this adventure with you guys! I will still be doing just as much portrait photography, but will be adding this on the side. Thanks for joining along!
