Aren’t chill weekends the very best? It is always exactly what I need to start fresh and energize myself for the next week. This weekend was one of those weekends. We hung out at home, went on a date, ate great food, and watched way too much Netflix.

I was so excited when I got to plan our date for Saturday night. It of course included eating the best Indian food in town with our friends, a trip to Al’s Sporting Goods, and a paint by number. Okay okay, okay… I know what you guys are thinking. A paint by number? Really? Guys! Don’t dis it until you try it! I ordered an awesome 16X20 custom paint by number a few weeks ago from China, and it got here on Saturday. It is of one of my very favorite pictures of Jesus. We put the kids to bed early Saturday night and painted together for several hours while we watched the Clemson vs. Notre Dame game. We only saw the second half of the game, but man! We are big BYU fans over here, so we were voting for Notre Dame in hopes that BYU’s ranking would go up. And guess who won? Notre Dame in double overtime. Such a fun game to watch! And BYU’s ranking went up. Win win win. 

Our paint by number is coming along! We spent several hours on it Sunday as well. Combined, we have probably spent about 8 hours on it total. I’m pretty sure we just need one more great football game to finish our painting! I will share some pictures with you guys, because I really love the way it is turning out.
