Extended family sessions are always worth the effort! This family had to work really hard to coordinate a time when everyone would be in the same state. After months of trying, we were finally able to book this session. And it was so worth it! The family now has these adorable family pictures that they will treasure forever.
I got to go down to Provo to take these family pictures. And it was an honor! My sister-in-law married into this family, so I was able to see her cute little kids while I was down there. She is the one in the orange dress down below! I SERIOUSLY lucked out when it comes to in-laws. Robbie’s sisters and sister-in-law and the best. They all make such a big effort to be in each other’s lives and I feel so privileged to be a part of it. It makes me so sad that my husband’s parents have passed away, but it makes me happy that he and his siblings have each other. They have a special bond. So I was happy to get the chance to take these pictures for Robbie’s sister.
These pictures were taken in Provo Canyon in April. Everything was still pretty dead haha, but they still turned out beautiful! I was pleasantly surprised with how green the grass was. It added some beautiful color to the pictures.
I bought a bench that I use for extended family sessions that has been one of the best investments I have made for my business! It actually makes a huge difference with groups of large people. We are able to squeeze everyone in to a smaller space and make the family picture look so great! So I was happy I was able to squeeze my bench into my husband’s little car and take it all the way down to Provo with me. Totally worth it!
Love the way this beautiful session turned out! And loved being able to travel to take them. This business has opened up a lot of really neat opportunities, and I am so grateful!
