Idaho Falls Gender Reveal
Gender reveals are such a party to photograph! I can always feel the excitement of the cute couples. This couple, Taylor and Taylor, couldn’t be any cooler. Their little girl is going to be the luckiest girl on the planet! And I bet she will have a really nice smile, just like her momma. I loved taking these Idaho Falls gender reveal pictures for this sweet couple.
Taylor (the girl) is my husband’s cousin. For how close we live to each other, we definitely need to be hanging out more! Haha. They are so much fun. When her and Taylor, her now husband, started dating, they had to figure out how they were going to navigate the whole same name thing. So she started calling him Duke. Apparently that’s what his family called him growing up. So he no longer goes by Taylor. He gave up his name for his wife. That’s true love!!
These guys brought confetti (biodegradable, don’t worry!) to their session. It may or may not have taken them at least ten tries to get these pictures, haha. But it was totally worth it.
My husband and I got to go to their sealing the other day in the Idaho Falls temple. Because of Covid, they weren’t able to get married in the temple right away. They actually got married at her parents’ boat club, which, in my opinion, is the next coolest thing besides the temple. I took their formal pictures up there at Palisades the week before their wedding. It was so beautiful!
I couldn’t be more excited for these guys. Taylor is going to be an amazing mom, and Duke is going to such an awesome dad. I can’t wait for their little girl to get here! Watching people become parents is honestly one of my favorite things. Probably because it means so much to me because of the relationships I have with my kiddos. I just know how happy and fulfilling it is, and want it for everyone else. Congrats Taylor and Duke, you guys are going to absolutely love your new adventure!
