Man, it’s been a minute! I have been so crazy busy with sessions that my blog posts were kinda put on the back burner. But don’t worry, I’m still busy at work over here! Now that it is officially slow season (Idaho winters, am I right?) I have time to catch up on my blogging! I have tons of sessions to blog, and I am starting with this cute one right here! These sunflower senior photos turned out so dreamy. I hope you love them as much as I do!
Believe it or not, I took these photos four days before my little dude Jonah made his arrival. The sunflower patch here in town is only in bloom for a few weeks a year. They plant different sections at different times in the spring, so if you go some time in August you will most likely find flowers in bloom. But I was due right in the middle of August, so I told myself I would sit this season out at the patch. But this cute girl Hadley wanted her senior pictures there, and I couldn’t bring myself to say no. And I’m so happy I didn’t! I mean, look at her! She is glowing in those flowers.
I taught Hadley when she was in the sixth grade. I was finishing up my student teaching and got to teach her class for a few months. Funny enough, I was very pregnant when I was her teacher as well. She was so much fun to teach, and so of course I said yes when her mom asked me to do her senior photos!
Hadley plays volleyball, basketball, and high jumps for the track team at Thunder Ridge High School. She hasn’t had the best luck the last few years getting to play sports (Covid and an injury), so I hope everything goes perfectly for her this year! She has worked so hard her whole high school career and sooo deserves these opportunities. Hadley, I hope you take state at the high jump! Don’t forget your senior photographer is cheering for you, haha. I can’t wait to hear all about it!
