I’m so excited for Christmas mini sessions this year! Here is everything you need to know to help you prepare for your session.
The tree farm is behind the Thunder Ridge baseball diamonds. You will need to park in the Thunder Ridge High School baseball diamond parking lot, close to the north end of the football field. Plan on arriving a few minutes early, because you will need to walk around the outfield fence to the tree farm back behind the diamond. If there is snow, you will want to wear snow boots! It’s about a two minute walk. You should see me back there in the pine trees! Just head on back.
I will take at least two different sets of family photos so you will have choices when it comes to the picture for your Christmas card. I will also take pictures of the kids together, the kids individually, and you and your spouse, if wanted. If there are any other pictures you would like, just let me know at the session so I can get you everything that you want! You will receive an online downloadable gallery of at least 15 images within a week of your session.
Dress warm! It will probably be cold. When choosing family outfits, I love to choose a few colors that look good together and plan outfits around that. Some popular colors for this time of year are red, navy, rustic brown, maroon, mustard and grey. Layers also look really nice! Not only do they keep your warm, they look really great in winter photos. Layer up! Try and avoid shirts with graphics, and choose clothing items that are solid or have simple designs that aren’t distracting.
I’m so excited for our Christmas mini sessions! Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. See you guys soon!
