Bear Lake Photographer

Being a Bear Lake Photographer is a dream for me! Growing up, my family went to the lake every summer. It was the highlight of my year. We would go all the way up to northern Idaho to Priest Lake. It was a dream. Once we all started having kids, the drive became too long. We decided we needed a new lake closer to home, so we tried out Bear Lake. We absolutely LOVED it. Each year, we rent a different Airbnb big enough for all my siblings and their families. We spend several days at the beach and all take turns cooking. We play a lot of games and just hang out. My kids think it’s the best thing in the whole world. My very favorite part about Bear Lake is that the water is shallow for like 200 yards on the North Shore. Like ankle deep shallow. I am not constantly panicked about my children being too deep. They can splash and play and kayak right around where we set up on shore without needing life jackets. It’s a win-win for all of us!

There are SO many beautiful places to take family pictures there! I love to take them on the west shore, by the boardwalk, or up the canyon about 30 minutes to the most BEAUTIFUL field of wildflowers. It’s so pretty that I made my family drive three hours to get out pictures taken there once. Totally worth it! To this day they are hands down my favorite family pics.
