Being a GTNP photographer has so many perks! The main one is that I get to spend beautiful nights in beautiful places with beautiful souls. This night in GTNP was no exception.
This is the family of my very best friend in the whole world. To know her is to love her. She is a beautiful soul inside and out and it has been such an honor and delight to get to know her and her sweet family. I’m very jealous of her family and all of the time they get to spend with her haha. She came into my life quickly and left an imprint that has changed me deeply. I am forever grateful for this cute momma and the amazing friend she has been to me. Love you forever, Stephy!
I wish I could go back to this night. Jenny Lake is absolutely beautiful at sunset. It’s pretty magical, honestly. The water was still and the views were breathtaking. We also went to the Blacktail Ponds for a second location. It is just outside the park, so we were able to bring their family dog along. There are strict regulations inside the park about dogs, so shooting at a second location gave us the chance to include little Ozzy. Fun fact for ya, Ozzy is the only dog on this planet I like. Don’t hate me for not being a dog person. But this little guy is different. I even let him lick my face. That’s some serious love, guys.
After this beautiful evening in the mountains, we ended the night at Pinky G’s Pizzeria. It was delish! Highly recommend. I’m a sucker for a good pizza.
So grateful I got to photograph this beautiful family this last fall. It was honestly such a treat. Nothing makes me happier than being a GTNP photographer! Unless it’s photographing my best friend’s family. That makes me the very happiest.
