Ammon Foothills

I know I say this all the time, but I have a new favorite spot to take pictures! It is in the Ammon foothills. About September, the grass turns dry and beautiful. The sun hits the rolling hills in the background just perfectly during golden hour, and it creates such a  DREAMY location for pictures! I love it so much that I think I am going to set my own family photos up here next summer. It makes for the most stunning photos! 

This cute husband set up this session as a surprise for his wife for her birthday. He booked a date for a session with me, and I sent him my location guide. On his wife’s birthday, he shared the location guide with her and together they chose this spot for pictures together. Isn’t that so thoughtful?? I have to admit, that was a first for me. 95% of the time it is the woman setting up the session, and never before have I had someone set one up as a surprise for their significant other. Isn’t that the sweetest thing you’ve ever heard? 

This cute couple brought two different outfits. Both sets of outfits were pretty neutral, and I really like the way they look with this neutral location! I think this couple nailed it. They loved the pictures and she will forever have them as a reminder of how thoughtful her husband is. How special! I love it. 

Ladies, I know that if we set up sessions for our men for their birthdays they wouldn’t be happy about it, haha. But that doesn’t mean that they can’t do it for you!
