I have been an Idaho Falls family photographer for about three years now. I have had the opportunity to photograph so many sweet families! This is one of them. They were so much fun to work with and such a friendly bunch.
The mom of this family was college roommates with my mother-in-law. Her daughter went to school with my husband and later with me. It was so fun to have so many connections with this family. It made these pictures turn out even more special.
I know of a lot of photographers that would rather not shoot large families. It’s hard to get everyone to look at he camera at the same time, keep all of the kids happy, and make sure the session runs smoothly. But big family sessions are kinda my jam! I absolutely love everything about little kids. Even if they are grumpy and won’t look at the camera. I love making sure the sessions go quickly and efficiently, because the parents are always happy when they don’t have to stay at family pictures for an excessive amount of time. I aim to have my extended family sessions last 45 minutes. In that 45 minutes, I am able to get at least two different group shots, individuals of each grandkid, individual family pictures, and couples pictures. It ends up being around 80 pictures.
If you are looking for extended family photos in or near SE Idaho, shoot me a message! I would love to help you out!
