Idaho Falls Temple Wedding

Man, Ashlee and Colton are the best. The coolest part about being a wedding photographer is that you get to make really good friends. It’s amazing what can happen in three photo shoots! Shooting this Idaho Falls temple wedding was so much fun! I loved every part of the day.

These two cuties got married in the Idaho Falls temple. Later in the afternoon, they had a beautiful ring ceremony at a local church building. After their cute ring ceremony where Ashlee’s dad got to walk her down the aisle, they had their reception. It was decorated so beautifully! The best part? I’m pretty sure they did it themselves!! It looked SO good. And they had the cutest refreshment table with tons of different kinds of desserts. It was very similar to what I picture heaven’s buffet tables looking like. 😂

One of the most special moments I got to witness with this couple was their first look. We chose to do their bridals at a local tree farm in Idaho Falls. I think they ended up matching the season and the reception perfectly. 

Colton was so cute when he saw Ashlee for the first time. He was SO nervous for the first look. But when he turned around to see her for the first time in her dress, his face completely lit up. He couldn’t stop smiling. He gave her a huge hug and started crying. It was such a beautiful and special moment. I’m so happy I got to capture it for them so that they can remember it forever!

I love shooting weddings. The whole day is so joyful. Everyone is so happy for the couple, and it is just a huge party. I can’t wait to shoot more weddings like this in the future. Congrats Ashlee and Colton! Thanks for choosing me to be a part of your special day!
