Arizona Surprise Proposal

I went to Arizona last week and got to capture a surprise engagement! I’m not lying when I say it was one of the best moments of my career. It was just so cute how it all came together! Shooting this session made me with that I could fly out and shoot an Arizona surprise proposal every week. It was that magical.

I reached out to Lexi’s cousin to see if she might know someone in Arizona who would like their pictures taken. She introduced me to her cousin, who was dating Tanner at the time. Lexi’s cousin told me, “Ya, they should be getting engaged any time now!” I heard that and secretly hoped it would happen at our shoot. I mean, how cute would that be?
Soon after I set up the shoot with Lexi, I got an instagram message from her boy Tanner. He told me that he wanted to propose to her during our photo session! I was over the moon. He kept messaging me all week, trying to set up the perfect plan. He eventually decided on getting a letter board that said, “Marry me?” and pull it out when she had her back to him. His execution was perfection and Lexi was SO surprised. It was seriously so cute.

I’m so happy that I got to capture this precious moment for this cute couple! I’m grateful that they were willing to drive six hours round trip to let me take their pictures. What good sports! I hope it was worth it for them. Congrats you two, I’m so excited for the adventures you guys have ahead!
