It was such an honor to be able to photography Amber and Sam’s wedding. Because of COVID, they had a “drive-up wedding.” Everyone stayed in their cars and watched the ceremony. Sam had a sound system set up, so people were able to hear them when they made the most beautiful and perfect vows to one another. I’m not lying when I say they had me in tears!
Amber talked about how much she loves Sam for the man that he is. She said that she was so excited to move out her parents’ house, because she was tired of always waiting for her mom to finish talking to everyone at church before they could leave. She then laughed about how Sam is way worse than her mom when it comes to visiting with people, but that is something she admires about him most. He has such a big heart. She ended her vows with letting Sam know that she is so proud of him. Proud that he is hers, proud that he will one day be the father of her children, and proud that they will be able to make sacred covenants together in the temple. *cue tears
Sam started off by telling Amber that he is the luckiest guy in the world. He talked about how her middle name means treasure, and how she will be his most precious treasure for the rest of eternity. He mentioned how he was grateful that Amber put up with his crazy addictions to tennis, disc golf, and Little Caesars Pizza. (Who can relate? 😅) Sam vowed to be her hand to hold, her shoulder to cry on, her provider, and her eternal companion. He ended with, “I vow to be the man and the father that God expects me to be, and I will always treat you as a child of God. I love you Amber.” 😭
Seriously guys, they are the cutest. I loved everything about their ceremony. Sam and Amber, thank you for letting me be a part of your special day! I admire the love and respect you two have for one another, and can’t wait to see what is in store for you two. Congratulations on a perfect wedding day!
