What To Do With Your Pictures

You have received your beautiful gallery from our session. Yay! But now what? How are you going to display so many photos from the same session? I’m going to share with you guys some of my favorite things to do with my family pictures.

This summer we had the amazing Jennie Grange take our family pictures. The very first thing I did once we received them was downloaded them all and saved them to my hard drive. My wedding photos disappeared from the gallery after 24 hours, so I learned my lesson the hard way that if you don’t save them immediately, you might not have a chance to later. 

Once you have saved your images, choose your favorites. I chose nine of my favorites from our session and ordered 9 12×12 canvases to make a collage on our living room wall. The collage is my very favorite! I will share a picture of it down below. It brings me so much joy. Print off your favorites and hang them around your house! 

Print off a few pictures for grandparents. There isn’t anything they love better than to show off their cute family! It’s also a great idea to print off a few for you or your husband to take to the office. Show off those cute kids of yours! 

Make a Shutterfly calendar of all of your images. This is a good way to display a lot of photos in a small space. I have been doing this for years and LOVE it.

Make a photo album. Make a book on Shutterfly, or actually order your prints and put them in a little photo album. My mom did this for my boys this year for christmas and they absolutely love it. 

Make Christmas cards.

Share them on social media! Share your pictures on Instagram, Facebook, or whatever other platform you use. For bonus points, tag me (@meganowensphotography) 😜
