Things to do in Idaho Falls
Believe it or not, guys, Idaho Falls is actually a really awesome place! There are a lot of fun things to do in Idaho Falls. It sometimes takes a little bit of creativity to think of things to do, but it always ends up being worth it for the fun memories made. I am going to share with you guys a list of my very favorites in IF!
Favorite Restaurants
If you don’t do anything else, try one of these bomb restaurants. I am a total foodie and am obsessed with all five of these places.
Tandoori Oven is a cute little Indian restaurant. It is hands down my favorite place to eat in town. I love their butter chicken with hot sauce on the side. I also love their garlic naan and vegetable pakora.
Snake Bite is a cute restaurant downtown with really good burgers, pastas, fish, and salads. Their fry sauce is INCREDIBLE. Just know if you choose to go here that they only accept cash. However, there is an ATM inside you can use for a small fee.
Abracadabra’s is a really fun breakfast and lunch place close to the mall. It’s not a huge chain restaurant, which is a win, and has original entrees. If you have a sweet tooth, give their Captain Crunch encrusted French toast a try!
Taqueria el Rodeo is awesome and authentic Mexican food. It’s a fun, casual restaurant in Ammon. The best in town if you ask me! Guys, I know real Mexican food. I lived off of it for 18 months. THIS IS THE REAL DEAL.
Lucys is one of my very favorites. Any time its my turn to choose where to eat, I choose this place. BEST PIZZA AND WINGS IN IDAHO FALLS! I love their Zestpian pizza. Im convinced nothing will ever top it. My husband is a fan of the CCB pizza. Their buffalo sauce is freakin bomb, and makes for some killer wings. To top it off, their ranch dressing is sooo good. I could drink it by the gallon.
Things to do with the family
Catch crawdads. My very favorite thing to do in Idaho Falls with my family is catch crawdads at Ryder park. Go to the north shore by the little stream that runs into the pond. That’s where they like to hang out. Worms seem to be the best bait. You can catch like twenty crawdads in twenty minutes. So fun! They aren’t really big enough to eat, so we just dump them back in to the pond before we leave.

Tauphaus Park Ice Skating Rink
Kids Town– a great place for toddlers and young kids to play
iJump– an awesome trampoline place
Chukars baseball games
Straw and corn mazes in October
Play at the sand dunes– they are small, but definitely big enough to keep a kid happy for long time.

Walk the path at Snake River Landing
Scooter around the Greenbelt
Frisbee golf at Freeman Park
4 wheeling or dirt biking in the hills
Visit the Japanese gardens
